Ulka Djordjevic, 66, of 70 S. Pine St. in Hazleton, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born in Yugoslavia on January 12, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Proka and Sylvia (Sain) Nika and has resided in Hazleton for the past 12 years.
Ulka was primarily a home maker and enjoyed caring for her family. She was friendly, light hearted and was known as being a joker. She was a good cook and loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband Lazar Djordjevic; daughters, Vera Djordjevic and her husband Mike of Hazleton, Angela Djordjevic of Servia and Bosijlka Djordjevic and her husband Fadil Ahmetovic of Hazleton, along with 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:30 PM from the Hazle Chapel of Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 426 West Broad Street, Hazleton. Pastor Eleanor Del Balso of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Harwood will preside. Burial will follow in the Mount Laurel Memorial Park, Hazleton.
Friends may call at the Hazle Chapel on Friday from 1:00 PM till time of service.
