Krapf & Hughes Funeral Home ● Crematory remains committed to serving our client families safely and to the best of our ability.
With the Pennsylvania mask mandate terminated on Monday June 28, 2021, and by direction of the governing body of funeral directors in Pennsylvania, the decision has been made to relinquish control to our families to make the final call on COVID restrictions during funeral services.
At the family’s discretion, the funeral home can be lenient or strict in enforcing such policies. Our facility is open at 100% capacity and can accommodate over 125 people comfortably. However, families may wish to limit the capacity within the chapel, require masks and distancing and ask friends to refrain from touching and sharing affection.
We understand the families we serve may have different comfort levels regarding safety protocols and we will do our best to accommodate all family requests.
The facility will continue to be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every funeral and arrangement to ensure the safety of everyone that comes through our doors.
Livestreaming:
Our funeral home has the capability to professionally livestream any services that takes place at our building. The livestreams will begin 15-20 minutes before the scheduled service time. These funerals will be streamed to YouTube.com, accessible by searching "Krapf & Hughes" or by the person's name (John Doe Funeral.) The livestreaming link will also be available on the obituary of your loved one by finding the "Events" sections and clicking "Watch Event."
We find that YouTube is the most widely available platform for viewers of all ages. No account is required, unlike Facebook livestreaming. The stream will remain on our page for viewing after the fact, as well.
